As war rages between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, it is hard to envision an end to the conflict. A quantitative analysis of 156 peace agreements over time ... found that when women are decision-makers–serving as negotiators and mediators–the probability of an agreement lasting at least two years increased by 20 percent.
